A new life…

A new journey in life

I’ve always been a private person who thought my personal life will never be for public views. But then I got married. The sentimental in me wanted to document everything before our wedding, so I made a wedding site, which of course had some personal and intimate stuff that I would otherwise not write on the web if not for the thought that our future children would be able to see it someday. This is a continuation of that site. Life after the wedding.

I like reading. I like to read fiction and non-fiction books. I’ve learned to read at an early age and had been reading paragraph-length stories even before I started kindergarten school. By the time I started HighSchool, I’ve already exhausted my sister’s Mills & Boon collection.

I also find literary articles and writings on scientific studies interesting. But my favorite of all is courtroom and legal drama of my favorite author John Grisham. So, I’ve read all of his books and am always on the look-out for new ones.

Perhaps I’m so drawn to blogging (even my personal life) because I like writing. I like reading and writing   I know, my hobbies suck :)

I also have a no-nonsense approach in life. I indulge myself sometimes, but mostly I find some things ludicrous. I am all about perspective.

But enough about me. Please meet my better half, Ian…

You’d find me refer to him Christian or Ian sometimes in my entries here. I like to call him Mao too. No, that’s not his Chinese name, but I like calling him that especially when he’s looking too Chinese.. it’s a long story… [as if this isn't long enough!]

My husband doesn’t like reading. The first book that he’s ever read was The Storehouse Principle by Jandl and Crouch which he started reading on the plane on way to our honeymoon destination, the concept of which we started applying in our marriage life right away.

A self-made man who learned the art of marketing at an early age of five. He’s a respected bass guitarist, businessman and a Supervisor in a telecom company. He likes to do a lot of things at a time. He sleeps 3-4 hours on most days but you’ll never catch him sleeping a day off. He’s very industrious… But he also knows when to be silly

and that is probably what I like most about my husband. His sense of humor.
