Three strands of hair talking:
left branch head facilitator/chirpy: hey, how’re you two feeling this evening?
middle branch head facilitator/missy: well, i’ll feel better if I’d have some night-loving, comb-smoothing ministrations
right branch head facilitator/Mrs. Huffy: hmp! no hope for that now, lady. Just look how the host slept without untangling us all. I mean, how could she sleep with her hair in braids?
chirpy: I feel you, Mrs. Huffy. If we’re not in boring braids these days, we’re tied with that ugly piece of scrunchie in a child-like ponytail.
missy: I don’t mind being in a ponytail because that makes us look neat afterall. What I don’t understand is why she’s still not having the treatment I heard that guy in the salon said she could have instead of hair straightening.
Mrs. Huffy: if you ask me, she should never have that hair wave treatment in the first place, now we’re all frizzy and dull to look at.
Missy: oh yes, Mrs. Huffy, how right you are! I miss the days when we’re all shiny and straight and compliments just keep pouring upon us. I never liked that curls, really. It looks wanton, sometimes. I really wish she’d get the treatment soon.
Chirpy: sure missy, but you know, having a hair cut is also an option. I would love to sport a new short look free from all those splitting ends, but I heard the Mister ain’t having none of that new short hair look.
Mrs. Huffy: hah! That maybe what the Mister wants, but I heard him said recently that she can have us cut if she wants to. I don’t know what the host is up to dilly-dallying with a haircut or hair treatment. She doesn’t look like she wants us nipped, you know.
Chirpy: I could live with that, but why not have us in wave treatment again? what d’you say? Instead of being in this state of unrecognizable curls and straights?
Mrs. Huffy: and I thought you want to get rid of the splits? Never mind. She won’t have us in that again, the Mister doesn’t like it and I think she is tired of it too.
Missy: well, she must do something. Don’t you wish we’re back in the days when we’re black and shiny?
Chirpy: stop living in the past, Missy. Those days are over, so you better get over it … But I’ve got a brainy idea. I say we team-up with our white sisters and run a head-wide campaign for recruitment. That would increase our white converts for sure! That should teach her a lesson or two about hair care!
Missy: But that won’t help us at all. Besides, I don’t want to be white and ugly.
Mrs. Huffy: sshheesh.. the Mister is stirring, you both stop talking or kiss any of your plans goodbye, if the Mister should hear, he will no doubt advise the host.

[...] Chell delivers once again. If My Hair Could Talk is well-crafted. [...]
gee, thanks. that made my day.
oh ati.. your imagination was waaayyy amazing!!!! haha! if you only have 3 strands on a near strike, i can’t imagine mine. haha!
but yours are natural, dei. they don’t get frizzy as a consequence of chemically-induced curls. don’t cut it, by the way, it’s pretty as it is
well then, it is naturally frizzy too! haha! if not only because of petroleum to help me tame it, it’ll always be “bad-hair-day” for me.. anyway, thanks for thinking so it’s pretty. hehe.. i wish i had mine as sleek as yours. which could be very easy to manage. by the way, you’re planning to have what kind of treatment?
oh the guy in the salon calls it “wash-out”, ya know, probably because it’s suppose to ‘wash out the chemicals’
coz straightening’ll make it crummy even more than it already is
